Here is the Unvarnished Playlist and why each song was chosen!
In Your Honor - Foo Fighters - A declaration of Carrie's devotion to Autumn and a hell of a way to start a playlist.
Bulletproof - DIAMANTE - Carrie's Theme and her general opinion of herself. She's not in the belief that she's unstoppable, but she sees herself as someone who can take as many hits as it takes and keep getting up.
the cost of giving up - Poppy - Autumn's Theme and her general state of mind.
Jaded - Spiritbox - Another theme for Autumn, and what goes on inside of her.
RATATATA - BABYMETAL & Electric Callboy - Cristy's theme, showcasing her general mentality that life is a party, and that you should always take time out to have fun.
Bad Guy - Conquer Divide - From the moment I knew I was going to create this playlist, I knew this would be Sophia's theme. Billie's version is great, but it just isn't hard enough for this playlist.
Hunting Season- Ice Nine Kills - The theme for the man in black and his hunt.
LosT - Bring Me The Horizon - Another song representing Autumn's state of mind
Manipulation - Beartooth – An anthem for Sophia’s crusade to control everything.
Break In – Halestorm – A song that relates to the walls Autumn has built around herself, and how Carrie (and Cristy) are breaking through them… slowly.
Dear Agony (Aurora Version) - Breaking Benjamin & Lacey Sturm – Another song relating to Autumn’s state of mind.
I'll Follow You – Shinedown – Similar to In Your Honor, it relates to how Carrie will follow Autumn to the ends of the Earth.
Paint It Black (Epic Trailer Version) (feat. Rånya) - Hidden Citizens - Autumn's guitar, Meimegami's theme, and the song she plays on her.
Bonus:
Spongebob SquarePants - Jonathan Young - Read the book and see if you can spot where this one comes into play!
Youngstown—Bruce Springsteen - No harder version of this song exists that I could find, so I thought it best to include the Boss' original. It is directly mentioned in the book.
