Meet the cast of the Balance Blade Chronicles
Carrie Abbey - aka Karri Tara'vir
Carrie escaped to Earth from a world of swords and sorcery with her mother and sister. She is a Tala’har, a magic-powered guardian of magic users whose destiny is to protect the incarnate of a powerful spiritual being called a Balanced One. She has an aggressive temperament but attempts to rein it in. She recently moved from Seattle to Miami, where she is a junior at Marshall High School. She wields a single blade that can accept magic from her, which can result in such effects as flames.
Autumn Alexander
Autumn is a junior at Marshall High School in Miami, Florida. She is a child of an immortal family, descended from shinobi and a magical bloodline created by the Olympian Gods. This fact isn’t even what makes her unique. She is the earthly incarnate of a powerful spiritual being known as a Balanced One. She does not appear to be aware of this. Her cousin Sophia makes Autumn’s daily life miserable, who uses her status as the ‘queen bee’ of the school to turn the rest of the student body on her. Even though she is a capable martial artist, Autumn has seemingly chosen to accept their punishment instead of resisting. She excels at bladed combat, usually with dual katana.
Cristy Alexander
Cristy is a junior at Marshall High School in Miami, Florida. She has a twin sister named Sophia, who holds considerable influence at school due to her status as the most popular girl. Their mother is the identical twin of Autumn’s mother. These twins stem from a bloodline created by the union of Aphrodite and Athena. Cristy’s father is an immortal former hero of the Olympian Gods, who stole a vast fortune from Zeus. Cristy is a powerful telepath with a playful and flirtatious nature, as well as a short stature. She excels with firearms, including dual pistols and long-range rifles.
